It is great staying in a small family hotel. Staff is so nice, making everything for you. Good breakfast, rooms very comfy, nice art pictures. Hotel is not so far from city center, 20 mn by bus 65 or by taxi, and is easy to find from airport.

Unfortunately the experience has been somehow disappointing due to a rigid approach from the Management. To make it short, following some mistake in the booking (double room was booked for 1 person only, and not for 2) the management refused to proceed with check in once we reached the hotel, insisting that the room was booked for 1 person and not for 2. Only at a second stage, when a second staff came in support, the situation was cleared, and I was accepted to check in, after signing that I had to pay an extra 10 usd for the double use of the room (no issue with that). While in principle the management had all the rights to manifest their concern, I found the approach, the way of dealing with the issue, not welcoming, and certainly not expected from a structure that aims at positioning itself in the higher end market. Indeed, and this left aside, all staff, apart from management, were pleasant and supportive.

We stayed in a small hotel down a little alleyway away from the center of town, in a non-touristy area. the room was elegantly decorated with old French touches such as an antique telephone. the breakfast was delicious and included both Vietnamese and English choices. the staff was very friendly and helpful, even arranging trips to tourist sights. Getting a room with a balcony was a nice advantage as well.
The shower water pressure was low, making it difficult to get a good wash.

I enjoyed my stay at Ma Maison. The owner and staff were very helpful and freindly. The hotel lobby and rooms are beautiful and very clean. It was one of the quietest hotels that I stayed in anywhere in Vietnam.
It is a long way from the center of Saigon, which was known ahead of time and OK, but it was very difficult for the taxi drivers to find. I'm not sure what the solution is for this, but anything they could do to make it easier to find would be appreciated by future guests.

Mind-blowing boutique hotel in a hip district, with super helpful staff and jaw-dropping decor. The food was fantastic, and everything was spotlessly clean. The vibe was more interesting than the typical touristy area, and the location was surprisingly quiet. Loved it!

The hotel staff and service were excellent. Room was really nice. The location is quite far from city center but no problem getting a taxi and with HCMC's hectic traffic and unpleasant walking experince - it did turn out for the best! Quite near to airport too.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a quaint alleyway. It may not be in the bustling center, but that's what makes it special - you get to experience the authentic local atmosphere. The staff here are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms on the lower floors are cozy and comfortable, with great air conditioning to escape the heat. I also loved the cute extra touches, like the balcony where you can relax and soak in the local surroundings. The breakfast served here is simply delightful, with market fresh fruits to start your day off right.
All was great, nothing to improve.

French style, boutique bed and breakfast hotel. Family run, they are proud of their hotel, and so they should be. Hotel is immaculate. The staff/owners concern and care for you personal needs are exceptional. Being first time visitors to Vietnam, we had every confidence in getting the right advice, for how to approach catching taxi's, buying meals and what to watch out for and how to deal with situations that may not be so good.
